Dave Cockrum (11 de noviembre de 1943 – 26 de noviembre de 2006) fue un influyente dibujante y diseñador de personajes de cómics estadounidense, mejor conocido por su trabajo en X-Men de Marvel Comics y Legion of Super-Heroes en DC Comics. Nacido en Pendleton, Oregón, y veterano de la Marina de los EE. UU., Cockrum comenzó su carrera profesional en los años 70, inicialmente en DC Comics.

En DC, trabajó en Legion of Super-Heroes, donde rediseñó a varios personajes y aportó un estilo visual moderno y vibrante. Su talento para crear trajes únicos y memorables llamó rápidamente la atención. Colaboró con escritores como Cary Bates y E. Nelson Bridwell, y dejó una fuerte marca en la estética del equipo.
