Johnny Cameron is assigned by his News Network to investigate the spate of killings in Nigeria's Middle Belt States . He arrives in Benue State to discover that farmers, villagers, and priests, are getting killed by the hundreds, unprovoked, by Fulani herdsmen. As he probes deeper in the hinterlands, with the help of a CIA-appointed contact, Olagoke, he soon finds himself caught in the middle of the vicious clashes between herders, vigilantes and farmers. But Cameron is not a stranger to mass killings and genocide. He had been trained by the U.S. military to kill, and handle hostile situations. As a former member of the U.S. Special Forces, and with a stint as a mercenary, and now as an investigative journalist, Cameron was the ideal journalist to investigate the killings. He would soon discover that there was an undeclared civil war that was slowly decimating Nigeria, and unleashing untold horror, and famine, as farmers are being killed in their farmlands, in many parts of Nigeria. He also finds out that the federal government is inept, and unwilling to deal with the devastating mayhem that threatens to tear Nigeria apart. But that was just a tip of the iceberg as he travels to the affected states in Nigeria to discover more dead bodies than he has ever seen in his life!
