THINK-LEAP-REGRET..."The grass over there wasn't so green after all!" Having a significant other will bring on both good and bad days. Some days will feel like there is death and decay in the atmosphere. Other days will feel like new life, green and prosperity everywhere. But in some relationships, the bad outnumbers the good and the weaker mate decides not to stick around for the long haul. He/she steps over the line and seeks fulfillment from an outside party. (I don't understand why she decided to tell me at that particular moment. Maybe the guilt overwhelmed her. "I have to tell you something. I can't keep this in any longer," she said. I kept silent and listened. She got straight to the point. "I've been sleeping with this guy." A chill ran through my body as I slammed on the brakes. I don't think I need to explain what I was feeling after hearing that. But I had to make sure I heard her correctly. "What?" I asked. "I've been sleeping with him," she said. My blood, and I'm guessing every other fluid in my body, began to boil after confirming what she had just told me. Then there was a slight moment of silence. Then I exploded! "How could you do this to me?" I yelled as I pounded the dashboard. We had stopped right in the middle of a busy roadway. "You said you wouldn't do that! You said you'll never go that far! How could you do this to me and your children?") Let's face it! Most of the time when we hear news of someone cheating on their spouse or mate, the culprit or cheater is typically a male. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that is the case at least 60% of the time. We see it in the media and in everyday life all the time. But in some cases, things get twisted all around and the woman becomes the culprit. She steps out and cheats on her husband, as was the case with me and my wife. The burden that was placed on me was almost too difficult to bear. (Boy was I weak! Both mentally and physically! Most of the mental damage was pretty much done within t
