This is Brigid is an overview of the much-loved Goddess and Saint of Ireland. As an expression of the Great Mother, Brigid was venerated Goddess in Pagan Ireland. She was daughter of the Dagda, consort to Bres and mother to Ruadan. She is the triple Goddess of Poetry, Healing and Smithcraft. She represents the light of life that comes forward out of the transformation of the old.
