Hergé (Etterbeek, Bruselas, 22 de mayo de 1907 – Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, 3 de marzo de 1983) fue un historietista belga reconocido a nivel internacional como el creador de Las aventuras de Tintín, una de las series de cómic más influyentes y queridas del siglo XX. Su estilo gráfico, conocido como la línea clara, marcó un antes y un después en la narrativa visual y consolidó a Hergé como un pionero dentro del mundo de la bande dessinée.
A lo largo de su carrera, desarrolló más de veinte álbumes de Tintín que han sido traducidos a numerosos idiomas y leídos por generaciones en todo el mundo.
