Reseña del libro "Edifice of Trust: Toward a Principled Social Policy (en Inglés)"

Following the path explored by the groundbreaking book, Principled Policy that analyzed the American Social Contract and built a framework of how to understand the most important public policy issues of our time, Edifice of Trust reviews the most important social issues of our time within the framework of the American Founding Principles. The book discusses how to apply timeless Enlightenment principles to the breaking news stories of today and reviews the policy positions of the presidential candidates running in the 2016 election. The book discusses how the major party candidates do not base their policies on the principles established by John Locke in his seminal work the Second Treatise on Government that guided the Founding Fathers when they established the new republic of the United States but rather on the monarchical and statist principles put forth by Thomas Hobbes in his book, Leviathan. You will look at the issues and the candidates with a new perspective after reading this book.
