Reseña del libro "From American Slavery to the American Presidency: How Slavery Propelled America Into the Civil War, Emancipation Proclamation, Freedom, Civil Rights, (en Inglés)"

Having watched bigotry surface from his pre-teenage years until more recent times, Dr. Theron D. Wilson, PhD, felt there should be a link showing how strong discrimination was versus the intensely prevailing and overcoming of racial bigotry today. Turn on your TV today, and you will see more black people. In government, we have had black representatives, black senators, black mayors, black governors, and a black two-term American president. In this insightful look into our nation's history, Dr. Wilson demonstrates just how far we have come and the incredible unity we can achieve if we continue on our path of ending bigotry and racism. About the AuthorDr. Theron D. Wilson, PhD, was born and then raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, in October of 1933. After his high school completion in 1951, he went on to college (now A&T University). In 1952 he joined the US air force and made it through basic training with flying colors. He was placed on a two-year assignment at Hamilton Air Force base near San Francisco and became a radar operator for the first eleven years of his military career. The latter nine years provided him and an opportunity to cross-train into the field of IBM. He retired from the air force in 1972 and settled in New Mexico City, and in 1974, he went to work for the City of Albuquerque and received his bachelor's in business at the University of Albuquerque. He went on to receive a master's degree in public management from the University of New Mexico and, later, his PhD in computer science. His dissertation, The Solution System, was shared with twenty-two project leaders and supervisors at Sandia National Laboratories. His final employment was as professor of computer science at Central New Mexico Community College for more than eight years.
